There are several funding options available to support your child when accessing our services.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The NDIS is available to individuals with a significant and permanent disability who require assistance with a range of activities.
We offer services to families with NDIS funds, including therapeutic services and support coordination. For more information on how we may be able to meet your child’s goals, please contact us.
Helping Children with Autism Package (HCWA)
Bright Eyes is a registered provider for HCWA. Families that still have HCWA funding available are able to use this to access our services.
You will need to provide us with a copy of your Letter of Introduction from your Autism Advisor in order to use FaHCSIA funding to pay for services.
HWCA funding also covers 20 treatment visits and 4 assessment visits to a psychologist in a lifetime. You will need a referral from a Paediatrician (issued before your child turns 15 years) to be able to claim a rebate for these visits.
Bright Eyes is a registered Medicare provider. Medicare rebates under the Better Access to Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management plans may be used with all our registered psychologists. You will need to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your child’s doctor in order to access Medicare rebates with us.
Private Health Funds
Psychological services are rebatable under certain private health funds. Check with your private health fund about whether your type of cover includes psychological services.
