Our behaviour support programs are designed to reduce behaviours of concern within the home, school or community environments.
Our behaviour support practitioners work on developing a person-centred behaviour support plan to effectively reduce a wide range of challenging behaviours. Our behaviour plans focus heavily on building the capacity of the individual, such as increasing functional communication and teaching strategies for emotional regulation.
These behaviours include:
- Physical aggression towards self or others
- Verbal aggression
- Property destruction
- Absconding/Running away
- Inattentive behaviours
- Overactive behaviours
